Nobody knows
How a nose grows
Or how God designed it, or why?
Such a strange little thing
All covered in skin
And sticking out under your eye!
Is anyone sure
What noses is for
What part of God’s plan they fulfil?
Perhaps to divide
Your left from right side
Is why he placed it there with such skill!
It’s so in your face
Taking up space
But no-one seems to mind or to care
And if your nose was to run
(As it’s said to by some)
Your face would look awfully bare!
So thank God for Noses
And all the sorts that He growses
Some long ones, some short ones, some square
It’s there in your face
Because your nose knows it’s place
Because your nose is your scent-er
- So there!
