They're part of a church Youth trip to Rwanda in Africa. Annie's one of the team leaders and has been before, but for Matt and the rest of the team, this is a whole new experience.
They'll have a busy time. The schedule includes running several holiday clubs, in which they're expecting at least a hundred kids at a time. They'll also be doing some practical work painting buildings. And they'll have a chance to see something of the country and the people.
That will include memorials to the Genocide that took place in Rwanda. It is a harsh and unpleasant reality that they will have to face.
If you pray, please remember the team in your prayers. This will be a challenging time for them - but also a beneficial time. Not only will they have the opportunity to contribute to the lives of people in Rwanda, but they will see for themselves what reality is for many people in the world. This could be a life changing experience.
